Commissions

Art Commissions

Art commissions are available in these mediums:

  • Oil paint

  • Acrylic paint

  • Watercolor paint

  • Gouache paint

  • Ink

  • Alcohol Makers*
*Note: Alcohol inks are not a light-fast medium and original colors will fade overtime. For this reason I provide a print of the original.

Portraits

Art portraits are available for bust, half body and full body with or without background at varying prices. References are required. If alterations are requested beyond what is provided in the reference (i.e. additional accessories or articles of clothing), there may be an extra charge. If you are looking for a character design or character portrait, such as for an RPG or book, please see the Illustrations commission instead. This is for realistic portraiture of people or pets/animals.

Landscapes

Landscapes are available in all mediums. References or detailed descriptions are required. Landscapes can be either reproductions or they can be fantastical or scifi creations. Depending on how much additional research or design I need to do to create the landscape, the price may increase.

Illustrations

Illustrations are intended for those who are looking for RPG, book, or other storytelling images. These may be scenes that include multiple or single characters, a character design or portrait, or an illustration intended for a book cover or advertisement. The price of this will depend on the nature, size, and complexity of the illustration.

Miniature Commissions

For RPG miniatures and Warhammer miniatures, the miniatures must be provided and assembled. If miniatures must be purchased, the purchase price of the miniature including tax and shipping (if applicable) will be added to the commission. If miniatures must be assembled, an assembly fee will be added and will require additional time. I have a small selection of unpainted miniatures that I can pull from for the dioramas, but if specific miniatures are required and not provided by you, the purchase and/or assembly price will be added to the commission.

DnD / RPG

This includes miniatures for all kind of table top games as well as larger figurines/busts/statues. The greater detail or more complicated the sculpt and/or desired paint job the longer the process will take to complete.

Opt. 1 — Single figure, speed paint
Opt. 2 — Single figure, detail paint
Opt. 3 — Monsters
Opt. 4 — Discussion

Warhammer 40K

Warhammer 40K and Age of Sigmar miniatures apply here. I recommend the detail paint for those who want display figures. I only do full armies/combat patrols on a case by case basis and at a speed paint level. I will only do one or two key characters in an army at detail paint level.

Opt. 1 — Single figure, speed paint
Opt. 2 — Single figure, detail paint
Opt. 3 — Multiple figures, speed paint
Opt. 4 — Multiple figures, detail paint
Opt. 5 — Army

Diorama

Dioramas can be a nice way to memorialize a DnD/RPG character that has been retired, provide a fun gift for a friend, or liven up your bookshelf with a book nook insert. Since this is a diorama, the figures will be given a detail paint job, but the basing/background details will vary based on the option selected.

Opt. 1 — 2-3 Figures, simple basing
Opt. 2 — 2-3 Figures, complex basing
Opt. 3 — 4+ Figures, simple basing
Opt. 4 — 4+ Figures, complex basing
Opt. 5 — Discussion

Calligraphy

Calligraphy and Illumination services can be done in multiple styles of calligraphy, different colors, and can include gold, silver, or copper leafing. I prefer to do calligraphy/illuminations that are only 1 to 2 pages long. Anything longer would require further discussion and an understanding that it will take longer to complete. For all illuminations and calligraphy options, a page is considered 1 side of a paper. These cannot be double sided. Cards are the only exception to this.

Illuminations

Illumination will include some type of illustration and/or motif. These also tend to have more symbolic colors and icons and can include leafing.

Opt. 1 — 1 page with border work
Opt. 2 — 1 page with 1 illuminated letter
Opt. 3 — 1 page with border and illustration
Opt. 4 — Multipages

Calligraphy

Calligraphy is a good option if you want a saying, a short piece of writing, a card, or an invitation in fancy lettering, but no illustrations of motifs.

Opt. 1 — 1-5 words
Opt. 2 — Multi-line poem or writing
Opt. 3 — Card (birthday, anniversary, valentines, etc.)
Opt. 4 — Wedding Invitation (template that is copied)

Journals

These journals are hand stitched and bound using fabric or leather scraps; colored, patterned, or marbled end paper; and findings to add more customization. The paper is unlined and there are some different options for style weight and size. The maximum size of the journal will be based on the paper selected and the size it is available in and the size the cover material is available in.
